TWG XVII: Weirdmageddon, Part 1 (Draft)

Hey all, Umbresp here. I'm hosting a game!

Gravity Falls is a town shrouded by mysteries and the supernatural. At the center of the weirdness is everyone's favorite all-powerful dorito, Bill Cipher. Will you be able to team up and stop him? Remember, he sees everything!

1. Bill Cipher: A being of pure energy with no weakness! Well, unless you kill him 3 times. Then he’ll get bored and go bother some other unlucky fellow. Or that zodiac prophecy thing, we don’t talk about that.

Bill can target someone to kill every night. If he dies through voting or is killed at night, he can transfer his powers and being by possessing somebody else (they become Bill Cipher and lose whatever role they had previously). This can only be done twice for a maximum of 3 people being Bill Cipher – if he dies after that, he loses. If a previous Bill Cipher died but the next Bill Cipher won the game, it counts as a win for everyone who was Bill Cipher at some point.

2. Lil’ Gideon Gleeful: An adorable wittle cutie pie hellbent on the destruction of the Pines family. Except Mabel, he likes her.

Gideon is a neutral role whose goals do not align with any other faction. His win condition is that Mabel survives and Dipper does not. His lose condition is that Mabel dies. All other outcomes are neutral to Gideon. Gideon can still win if he dies as long as Mabel survives and Dipper does not.

3-4. Dipper & Mabel Pines: The Mystery Twins are a force to be reckoned with. They defeated Bill twice already – once with kittens, and once with tickles. However, they need to work together, the fate of the universe depends on it.

Dipper and Mabel can each choose a person to target every night. If they both target the same person, and that person is Bill, the town faction wins. If they both target the same person, and that person is not Bill, they are both told that that person is not Bill. If they target different people, nothing happens. Targeting is not a killing action – the only person who could be killed by Dipper and Mabel’s night actions is Bill.

5. Stanford Pines: The brilliant researcher, once a friend to Cipher, who has realized the error of his ways and seeks to correct his mistakes. He has studied and knows Cipher better than anyone else, and documented his findings in a series of journals.

Ford can choose one person to investigate each night, and will be told whether they are Bill Cipher or not.

6. Stanley Pines: The twin brother of Stanford Pines, Stanley really just wants to have his family make peace once this whole mess is over. He cares immensely about the kids, and will go great lengths to protect them.

Stan can choose one person to heal every night. If the person would have otherwise died from an attack, the attack is prevented and Stan is notified.

7. Wendy Corduroy: A lumberjack in training and a close friend of the Pines family. She has an axe! Reap, reap!

Wendy can choose one person to kill with her axe each night, or to not kill anyone. However, if she kills anyone besides Bill (even Gideon, he’s just a child), she loses her axe.

8. Jesus Ramirez: The happy-go-lucky Mystery Shack employee is extremely loyal to the Pines family, but he can also be a bit clueless sometimes. Ok, a lot of times. Fine, all the time.

Soos has no night actions, but he generally doesn’t know what’s going on. In fact, he’s so unaware that if anybody attempts to use their night action on Soos, they will end up using their night action on themselves. Neither Soos nor the actioner knows this has occurred.

Roleflips will be given only to Bill Cipher, with both the color and the specific role. There are no DMs allowed, because he sees everything.

The town wins if Bill Cipher is killed permanently, whether through manually killing him 3 times or through Dipper and Mabel targeting Bill correctly.
The Bill Ciphers win if they reach parity with the town. Since there can only be one Bill Cipher at a time, this is either when there are 2 or 3 players left. Gideon does not count towards the town for parity, so if Bill, Gideon, and a town member are alive, Bill wins.
Gideon wins if Mabel is alive and Dipper is not when the game ends. His win can overlap with either the Town or Bill Cipher.

Remember, reality is an illusion, the universe is a hologram, buy gold, bye!
